One of the most recent boar bristle hair brushes that I picked up and began to use more frequently is the ceramic ION thermal hairbrush. I purchased mine at ULTA, but I’m sure there are many online retailers where you might be able to find them at.

This particular bristle brush is 100% boar bristled, but also included a thermal vented barrel. This type of barrel is nice for more consistent styling and faster to boot! Another feature that I’m not so pleased about is the ION charged material. I believe this is the cause of why after you use the ceramic ION thermal brush you get a load of static. Typically ceramic brushes are not supposed to make static, but trust me this one does. On the other hand this brush ads a smooth and nice shine to my hair.

The main reason I use this brush is to for brushing product thru my hair before I break out the blow dryer. Also for drying my bangs or just for brushing out my hair. Now I don’t have a very thick set of hair and many complaints about the ceramic Ion thermal hairbrush is that the bristles are stiff enough. So if you have thick or curly hair you might want to pass on this boar bristle hair brush.

As with many different boar brushes with a barrel you can buy this hair brush in four different sizes which are 3 1/4 inch, 2 1/2 inch , 2 inch, and 4 1/4 inches. These sizes will help you decide which one might work best for you. As mentioned above I bought my 2″ model at ULTA for $14.36. Again, I love trying different boar brushes as it’s more of a hobby of mine…thus my blog..LOL. I will post up another review shortly.
